Jéssica Leite is the founder of Lab F +, a social enterprise focused on promoting, disseminating, and strengthening innovations and ideas with a positive impact on society. Jéssica is a Brazilian futurist specialized in Futures Methodology and Literacy. She co-organized and co-authored two books in this field. For over six years, she has worked as a researcher, consultant, instructor, and communicator in the area of Futures Studies. Jéssica is currently a PhD candidate and holds a master’s degree in Maritime Studies from the Brazilian Naval War College (PPGEM-EGN). She is also a lawyer, having graduated from the Brazilian Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Her experience includes consulting, research, and coordinating extension courses at the Navy of Brazil’s Laboratory of Simulations and Scenarios. Additionally, she is a researcher in the Procad Defensa Prospectiva project (Capes and MoD). Jéssica previously worked as a Business Content and Innovation Analyst at the Trends Lab of Casa Firjan and as a visiting researcher associate at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London. Her current research agenda focuses on participatory practices in Futures Thinking.
