It provides the best remaining potential for wildlife movement across the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence system. A2A's animal inspiration is a moose named 'Alice' who was collared and released into Adirondack park. Alice swam across the Saint Lawrence river, walked across the 401 - one of Canada's busiest highways - and traversed more than 570 km to Algonquin Park. Her journey underscores the importance of repairing and protecting wildlife habitat between these two great parks. Show less
