Working as a delivery lead of up to seven teams (total of 80+ people) in the IT department. The teams are responsible for the API’s and platform of adidas.com (worldwide). Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the area. Ways of working:• Deliver software projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology. Focus on learning & iterating frequently.• Ensure standardised ways of working in the product area.• Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.• Ensure that a risk and dependency management plan is created. Budget and people:• Accountable for IT resource allocations according to the product roadmap and provided budget.• Managing/monitoring the provided product area budget.• Managing third party suppliers (IT resourcing vendors).• Involved in department resource allocation, pre-selection of candidates and support in hiring decision (internal and external positions).• Ensure project compliance requirements are fulfilled.Also:• Provide agile training for new joiners.• Organize on-site team events and meetups.• Actively participating in the Delivery Lead community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge.
