Concurrent with joining the MIT Enterprise Forum, CEO services were provided to TBS Technologies LLC, a promising start up with a patented disinfecting device, on raising capital, intellectual property protection, product development and market entry strategies. Discussions with the leadership of Trenergi Corporation resulted in an invitation to join their Board and assist in the fundraising and commercialization of their patented fuel cell technology.

This role included full P&L responsibility for the various UTC Fire & Security companies involved in the design and manufacture and distribution of highly engineered, fire detection and suppression systems. This group of five companies employed 1200 people in multiple facilities around the world and was recognized as the market and quality leader in these mission critical, life safety products.

This entity was established shortly after the acquisition of Kidde plc by United Technologies. It entailed full P&L responsibility for the four manufacturing companies and several service companies that offered specialty hazard fire suppression, fire fighting and fire training products. Aftermarket services for these products was also provided.

This role encompassed complete P&L responsibility for the largest division of Kidde plc; a highly regarded manufacturer of fire/explosion detection and suppression systems as well as temperature and gas ignition controls that were supplied to a global customer base.

A manufacturer of highly engineered, flight critical, overheat detection systems for commercial and military aircraft as well as explosion protection systems for industrial concerns with potentially hazardous processes. Unit won numerous customer awards and was a P&L within Kidde plc.

This company,newly acquired by Kidde plc, manufactured precise emission monitoring systems to insure compliance with environmental regulations.
