Data is different. We're not focused on adding a set of MVP fields/capabilities to an application. We're surfacing the component pieces that can be leveraged by ANY application and ANY analytics use case across the organization. But in today's fast-paced world, every effort must have a tangible return on investment - building blocks aren't enough! My job is to curate a journey for a cross-functional team that services the measurable needs of today while strategically limiting our reinvolvement to satisfy the needs of tomorrow. The data should just be there, it should be accurate, it should be easy to use consistently across consumers. Our systems that house data should be stable, safe, and flexible to keep up with the always-changing landscape. I currently oversee the multimillion dollar client transaction data program. This includes multiple vendor platforms, 100+ data integrations, internal build teams, and an internal stewardship team. The team averages about five major initiatives a year, leading the industry in available client-level transaction data. We make our marketing campaigns more meaningful, help our sales teams have insightful conversations, enable our analytics team to predict client lifetime value, and ensure finance can align commissions to revenue. Our responsibility isn't just to business growth; we maintain a balanced book of work inclusive of technology debt remediation to safeguard our critical data assets. Alongside the targeted initiatives, we are continually driving data as a strategic enterprise asset, so that data can be used and reused across the firm. While I'm incredibly proud to be part of such a high performing team, I'm still a data geek at heart. I love to jump in, uncover something new, and solve a problem.
