Over 11 years at OSF, I've played a key role in the creation of Enduvo, STEAM & STEAM workshops, Medical Cart AR, clinical VR experiences, the first ever Medical Visualization team, creating relationships between Bradley University faculty and OSF Leadership, educating on and expanding the use of generative AI within OSF Innovation, creating and deploying the first in-house OSF mobile apps,Once we decided interactivity was the key to engagement and apps were the way to go we hit the ground leaping to deploy 14 mobile apps in 5 years with a team varying at times between 4 and 6. My passion for VR allowed me to lead the development and deployment of 3 VR apps for Clinical and STEAM Education. One VR app ending up as a 3D interactive installation at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. Having a knack for interior 3D lighting, I was asked to design environments for Enduvo, for at the time they only had an early alpha build with a grey neutral environment. It allowed me once again the freedom to design whatever I wanted. 3D design and prototyping is still a passion of mine and I look forward to creating VR on my own again.Working closely with the Advanced Imaging and Modeling Lab (AIM Lab) multiple 3D heart renders and animations were created and used by Dr. Bramlet in research write-ups and articles. Another museum installation was a collaboration with MedVis and Bramlet. My teammate and I were reached out to for a proof of concept and we watched as it came alive. I'm proud to say The Heart is still at the museum and can be seen today.STEAM education grew quickly at Jump and our team collaborated often. I ran workshops on Unity, Mobile VR, and Healthcare. About Me 3D an AR Coloring Book was brought to life through our collaboration. My role as Volunteer Co-Chair for Technology & Communication at GPEDC CareerSpark introduced an additional 4,000 students to the STEAM program showing leadership the value of a continuing relationship.I can talk, if you can talk to 4,000 kids over 2 days you've talked more than most people do in a month. Rotating tours of kids at the Jump Simulation Center meant a half or whole day of presenting and improvising and finding new ways to emphasize your words to attempt to captivate and inspire the children that were dozing off.I'm proud of what I've accomplished over the past decade. I'm ready for the future, I'm ready for new opportunities. It is time to follow my instincts and push out far into the world for innovation.I hope to see you there.
