Jack is a versatile Senior Information Security Assessor at AXA XL, with an in-depth Information Security background. Jack has handled a wide range of responsibilities from Service Management to Project Design and Implementation. He has a hands-on managerial approach to services he has developed, mostly in information security assessments and consultancy. This includes Security Awareness Programs, Vulnerability Assessments, Cyber Essentials and other expanding services in Risk Management. In previous roles Jack was also 2nd in command of SOC services that focus on 24/7 blue teaming ventures, including MDR based off either XDR or SIEM, utilising SOAR to automate various aspects of team workflow.Jack’s background provides him with a skillset not often found in security, primarily proven communication skills, data science basics and GRC fundamentals. He previously worked at a specialist Cyber Security PR firm, learning the principles behind the majority of security problems, solutions and technologies - as well as how to effectively engage audiences. This skillset helps maintain detailed, informative reporting and communication at AXA XL.
