Managed the conversion, integration, data retention, and decommissioning of 30 Citigroup hosted applications resulting in over $30MM of annual savings.• Bank funding. Directed a portion of the GE initiative to become bank certified so that they could fund through their bank in Utah that ultimately lowered the cost of funds and increased profitability. • Day-to-Day Support. Supported multiple applications including Infolease (IDS), Datascan, FastFinance, Oracle Financial packages (AP, GL, FA) resulting in a 99% availability.• Cost Reduction Initiative. Managed the cost reduction effort which resulted in the elimination of 60 positions and an annual savings of $6MM. Also, was able to assist 60% of the resources find new positions within GE and external to GE.• Compliance/Regulation. Technology lead in multiple audits including financial, operational and technology audits resulting in all passing audits and bank certification.

Provided technical leadership and direction to all Senior Executives via status meetings, strategic committees, and conferences.• Process Control. Established a global standard process control document which is compliant, auditable and effective in delivering quality software which was leveraged by all technology groups and resulted in consistent successful audits.• Offshore development. Established an offshore development model with a low-cost provider (Tata Consultant Services) to provide greater productivity at a lower cost.• Multi-level Organization Management. Lead a team of managers whom directed teams who performed all development work & supported all aspects of the production instance of the FastFinance Lease Administration platform.• Training and Education. Established a team of professionals who provided educational support to all business units supported by the FastFinance Lease Administration platform. Decreasing the ramp up time for new users by 50%.• Budgeting. Involved in the Annual budgeting process for his department. Budget was in excess of $4MM.• Divestiture. Senior technology representation in all meetings with CIT technology and business. Facilitated multiple JAD sessions including technology, business, fincon and operations from both companies. Constructed a reusable conversion method of portfolios from three different systems. Resulted in a successful 400k contract divestiture under budget and ahead of schedule.

Managed a 10 person development team while architecting a cutting edge lease/loan administration system. Team consisted of project managers, developers, DBAs, and analysts. Responsible for the requirement definition, technical design, estimation and project plan of all assigned projects. Reported to the vice president of software. • Originations. Designed and developed a web-based, low-touch originations application which streamlined application entry, credit decision, and documentation of the loan.• Cash Administration. Designed and developed an AR application which was functionally efficient and control based. Replaced the previously determined Oracle AR system. In addition, built a reusable inbound lockbox module which was built generic enough to interface with many of the main banks such as Wachovia, Bank of America, and Citibank.• Sub-ledger and interface to Oracle GL. Designed and developed a mechanism to transfer sub-ledger entries to Oracle GL in summary. In addition, designed a daily reconciliation process where start of day and end of day balances would be systemically compared to the sub-ledger detail entries so that any ledger breaks would be captured and reported. Resulting in a 65% decrease in how long it would take to resolve the breaks.• Additional Components. Automated credit decision, Online Vendor Portal, Online Customer Service Site, Asset management modules, Collection Workflow, Insurance pass through, Usage based billing, etc.• Offshore Development Model. Established an offshore development model with IFLEX Consultative Services, which provided more controls, greater productivity, and lower cost. Allowing development to be done 25% cheaper.

Lead developer of multiple projects on a legacy loan system which was written in Open/Business basic.• Internet Development. Designed and developed the initial version of FastFinance Vendor Portal which enabled our vendors to submit commercial credit applications online and received credit decisions within 30 minutes. Resulting in over $400MM in new business originations within the first 6 months• Project management. Ensured that all documented requirements are met via traceability matrices and provide project statuses to the development manager.
