Basically, Atlanta's Lorax. I'm responsible for Trees Atlanta's fundraising programs, campaigns, and events designed to solicit individual giving. I create systems and structures to strengthen relationships with donors and work to build relationships with new supporters. I also manage Trees Atlanta's press relationships, create and edit our public content, and work to spread the "gospel" of Atlanta's canopy. I am so lucky to be able to do work to promote and protect the urban forest I'm fortunate to call home.

I served as an aide to the Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager. My responsibilities included monitoring the media, briefing on events and meetings, coordinating affinity groups, and assisting with business relations.I also served on Ms. Nunn's travel team, handling logistics and coordinating with on-site organizers.

I worked to introduce Atlanta high-schoolers to outdoor opportunities around the metro area and to encourage young people to take advantage of the numerous recreational assets available to them. My position was funded through a grant from Outdoor Nation and housed at the Georgia Conservancy.

I assisted with all aspects of development work at the Georgia Conservancy. In addition, I contracted with the Conservancy to write grant proposals, and worked with the Conservancy and Outdoor Nation to lead a club of high school outdoor enthusiasts on day hikes and service projects.

Led kids K-12 on hiking trips, recreational activities, and in music. Served as Counselor Coordinator during the summer of 2006.
