I researched and contacted nonprofits and NGOs in the West Bank and Israel, to find organizations that cohere with FFIPP's values and objectives. From there, I consulted applications and resumes, to determine where to place each international student based on their academic and extracurricular interests.

Palestine And Israel

I co-planned and led an educational tour of the West Bank and Israel for twenty-six new students as part the summer program orientation. The orientation consisted of a thorough week-long tour of the area, interspersed with discussions with Israeli and Palestinian academics, NGOs, and local civil society actors. The preparation entailed arranging lectures, tours, transportation, and overnight accommodations, while taking careful consideration of logistical and budgetary constraints.

Jerusalem And Ramallah

I used Microsoft Office to manage databases and analyze statistics of the types of calls received by a non-profit crisis hotline for victims of abuse in the West Bank and Gaza. I determined the most pertinent information and created fact sheets for public dissemination. I also researched and prepared reports about international organizations that might serve as potential donors in the future.

Beit Sahour, Palestine

I performed qualitative data analysis for an International Political Economy professorI researched the names, subject areas, and paper titles, along with the academic, institutional and/or corporate affiliations, of the presenters at the last eight years of the annual International Political Economy Society Conference. I then used Microsoft Excel to catalogue and design comprehensive reports to determine the linkages and cross-affiliations of presenters.
