With over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and retail, I am passionate about creating and executing meaningful strategies that showcase a brand's unique stories and personality. I have worked for leading companies in the outdoor, sports, and beverage industries, such as KEEN Footwear, Columbia Sportswear, adidas, and Craft Brew Alliance, developing and managing programs that enhanced their brand awareness, reputation, and growth.Currently, I am the Marketing Communications Manager for Pear Bureau Northwest, the Federal Marketing Order that represents 84% of the nation's pear crop. In this role, I am responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing programs directed at consumer and trade audiences, while growing the organization's reputation as the primary resource on pears. I leverage my skills in brand management to create compelling and cohesive narratives that seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds.Recent team accomplishments include a 99% approval from more than 700 pear growers to continue the Marketing Order, now in its 92nd year. Also, USDA announced in 2023 that consumption of pears per capita continues to increase, demonstrating that our omni-channel strategies are successfully navigating an ever-evolving environment for shoppers and the industry.
