Responsible for providing technical leadership for data warehousing and business intelligence projects at Burger King. Activities included collecting initial business requirements, developing functional and non-functional requirements, developing conceptual data models and architectures, detailed data models, working with outside consultants and vendors to ensure clear understanding of source systems, data integration requirements and target systems.

Responsible for managing the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence functions at Burger King

• Developed the data models and ETL processes to implement the second generation data warehouse at Burger King. The original data warehouse, although implemented in Oracle, used in-house developed Perl Script and PL/SQL packages for ETL and OSA for reporting and analysis. It was also limited to sales and inventory data. This project moved the data warehouse to an open architecture based on a best-of-breed industry toolset of Informatica and Business Objects. • Developed a reporting application for stored value card transactional activity. Responsible for developing functionality that would create SAP interface files to post G/L entries based on the previous day’s activities.

· Designed and implemented the database for a kiosk-based job application system. The system was based on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and incorporated XML-based technologies for both the transfer and display of data over a web-based platform. · Created the database design for the content-management component. · Developed and administrated a database built on Microsoft SQL Server to support an on-line lease analysis program. Implemented and maintained development, QA and production database environments. Developed the data model; programming user-defined functions, triggers and stored procedures in Transact-SQL. Developed and implementing merge replication over the Internet; writing administrative documentation. · Developed and implement a web-based OLAP system that enabled pharmaceutical companies to track the sales of their product to hospitals, doctors and pharmacies. The database was built on Oracle 8i running on Linux and Oracle Discoverer 3i was the OLAP tool.

· Worked multiple projects in various roles including developer; and solutions architect. Application areas were business intelligence, budgeting and financial reporting and consolidation. Used various multi-dimensional and relational technologies.
