Focused on increased student achievement in reading & math: Current levels of performance = 94% proficiency in reading, 78% in math with a 96% graduation rate. Increased student access to technology with a 1:1 mobile learning platform for students & teachers. Implemented the DuFour model of professional learning communities along with the new common core curriculum. Completed while managing an approximate 20% reduction in State funding.

Provided leadership and oversight of all federal programs and assessments including Title I, IIa, III, and IV. In collaboration with team members, applied for state and federal grants that supported remediation and enrichment in reading and math. Furthermore, developed a family learning center focused on supporting limited English proficiency students.

Provided oversight and leadership in an elementary school of approximately 450 students and the oversight and leadership of a 700 student 7-9 junior high school. Results: significantly increased student achievement in both schools.
