• Reported to the Minister of Tourism, overseeing all business planning, budgeting and tourist attractions for the Province of Ontario’s biggest tourism destination, Niagara Falls Ontario. • Provided direction and advice to Directors and Managers in leading the 300 full time and 1700 part time staff in the management of the $80 million dollar annual corporate budget.• Developed Provincial policies and strategies on preserving, protecting and maintaining the over 1700 hectares of parklands, golf courses, nature trails and tourist attractions to act as a gateway for tourism to Ontario by Canadian and international tourists • Developed strategies to preserve and enhance Niagara Parks heritage properties including the most extensive collection of the War of 1812 buildings, battlegrounds, and properties for the enjoyment of domestic and international tourists.

• Developed and Administered programs for the Canadian Government for Ontario’s Employment Insurance Service Delivery Network paying out over $3.8 Billion dollars annually, serving over 1 million clients each year. • Directed responsibility for the delivery of Employment (Unemployment) Insurance Benefits in Southern Ontario with annual expenditures of over $70 Million dollars. • Developed National organizational structures and program delivery strategies in support of the Government of Canada’s social policy framework.• Advised Ministers and community organizations on changes or amendments to policy legislation or regulations affecting the Employment (Unemployment) Insurance Program.• Developed operational budgets and human resource strategies to ensure optimal service delivery strategies.

• Lead the management and delivery of Ontario’s Canada Pension Programs involving over 1,200 employees delivering $22 Billion dollars (CDN) in program funds with a payroll of $52 Million dollars and $8 Million dollars in operating budgets.• Developed and Administered programs for seniors, persons with disabilities, survivors and migrants through the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security program throughout the Province of Ontario and through various international social security agreements. • Developed National organizational structures and program delivery strategies in support of the Government of Canada’s social policy framework.• Advised Ministers and Members of Parliament on changes or amendments to policy legislation or regulations affecting the Income Security Programs.• Administered over Ontario’s Income Security, Service Delivery Network paying out over 3,700,000 monthly benefits, answering over 2 million service calls and assisting over 175,000 clients at in-person centres each year.• Developed Performance Indicators and an Accountability Framework for the Ontario Service Delivery Network to ensure effective service to Ontario’s clients.

• Developed and implemented the service delivery network for social programs and policies for the government of Canada in the Niagara Region involving over 150 employees, one billion dollars in program budgets and a million dollar operating budget.• Developed National Labour Market Policies, labour market information systems, electronic data bases and electronic labour exchange for the government of Canada which was universally implemented across the country, in Russia and Jordan. • Worked with local economic development agencies and community stakeholders in the Niagara Peninsula to develop new programs and policies affecting poverty, re-employment strategies, adult training programs and community capacity building aimed at fostering and promoting economic development and social policy strategies for local communities. • Worked with Federal, Provincial and Municipal politicians to develop project initiatives and program strategies to support local economic development and community capacity building involving labour adjustment programs, skills building and adult training programs.• Worked with not-for-profit and volunteer sectors in developing local sustainability strategies, recruitment campaigns as well as programs to fight poverty and homelessness. • Managed the delivery of the Federal Grants and Contributions programs in the Niagara Region involving an annual budget of over $25 million dollars.
