I draw from 25 years of experience - gained living in four continents while working with Fortune 500 companies - to provide executive coaching and talent management services. For 20 years I was a corporate lawyer, beginning with Allen & Overy in London and Dubai. I moved to Egypt in 1993, where I studied Arabic full time for two years and then worked as a corporate lawyer in Cairo until summer 2011. During that time I co-founded one of Egypt's leading corporate law firms, Sharkawy & Sarhan. In 2011 I moved to Santa Barbara, where I am an adjunct professor at a liberal arts college and executive coach for business leaders in the USA, Africa and Asia.In 2022 I started working with Kingdom Causes, Inc, a non profit in California, as an organizational development consultant. Our work is to seek to combat human trafficking in Santa Barbara County.
