Senior Product Manager
CurrentSenior product manager with experience building online technical information and workflow tools that delight engineers and students.Primary responsibility for the management and growth (usage and revenue) of 35 vertical content products, and new product initiatives, through close collaboration with Users, Buyers, Business Development, Publisher Relations, Content Operations, Marketing, and Sales. Actively nurture and close new publisher relationships including product demos, financial modeling, contract negotiation, and data driven content selection.Inform and validate product strategy through structured and ad hoc customer and user interaction, data analytics, surveys, interviews, and collaboration with key internal stakeholders.Primary ownership for the development and ongoing improvement of a browser-based math solver tool and an accompanying library of over 2,500 interactive engineering equation worksheets, including the creation of a custom-CMS (content management system) to support the authoring, editing, and publication of equation content. Develop SOWs, manage schedules, and review deliverables for external developers and authors.Manage the selection and offshore vendor production of interactive graphs and tables to make static data actionable for users.Active stakeholder for UI/UX improvements, new tools development, and scoping new features based on analytics, user validation, and alignment with business goals. Prepare and groom JIRA stories in collaboration with internal developers.Monitor performance of products, content, and tools via regular reporting of metrics from Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Kibana, and Pentaho.Develop collateral and regularly present to Sales, Customers, Marketing, Advisory Boards, other groups in the organization, and Senior Management about strategy, roadmap execution, product improvements, and new product launches.
