Brand and marketing responsibility for the following private label programs: Leader Brand, Medicine Shoppe Brand, and 1st Choice Brands for a Fortune 19 company, distributed nationally to more than 23,000 retail customers. Annual sales totaling more than $120 million. Managed a private label team consisting of Buyer, Category Advisor and Category Assistant to manage all advertising programs, promotional activity, and communication to customers for each brand. Partnered with more than 120 suppliers for these programs. Each private label program was managed to an annual marketing budget and sales goal, servicing 3200 retail customers, 58 Cardinal Sales Team members, and 3 Regional Vice Presidents.• Maintained double-digit growth revenue each year for the past 5 years (47% sales growth overall)• Reduced supplier and item acquisition costs to increase overall margin 8%, with annual profit gains of more than $5 Million • Averaged 75+ new items annually, contributing to $1.25 Million in annual revenue gains • Evaluated current suppliers in the past 2 years, reducing acquisition costs for Leader Brand by $855,000 resulting in a margin pickup of more than $250,000 annually• Increased brand product sales 16% to $8.2 Million, while increasing average margin 4% over a two-year period • Increased charge-back allowances by 2% from nutritional suppliers, resulting in margin gains of more than $400,000 annually• Managed all in-line planograms to showcase private label products to more than 3200 retail customers• Created and promoted all brand sales strategies to more than 3200 pharmacy customers, Regional and National Advisory Board Committees, the Cardinal Executive Committee and Cardinal Health Sales Teams for the entire United States• Worked extensively with Pricing and Marketing Departments to restructure Cardinal Health’s Gold, Silver and Bronze pricing programs for Home Healthcare Customers, resulting in a $1.2 Million annual margin gain for Cardinal Health
