As the Chief Security Architect, oversaw security architecture for prominent online mobile payment platforms such as Visa Checkout, Visa Token Service, Visa Direct, and the Visa Developer Platform, catering to both B2C and B2B use cases, and collectively impacting over 100 million users.Drove the secure deployment of data and message processing platforms across the company, including Apache Kafka and Cloudera Hadoop platforms. Led the architecture and development of applications in the IAM domain including OAuth 2.0, OpenID, tokens, and JWT-based authentication and authorization for REST/JSON APIs.Engaged with external vendors to drive security innovation within Visa's efforts in next-generation data security technologies such as Intel® SGX, Samsung PAS/FIDO, biometrics, HSMs, AI in security, and voice-based payment transaction security. Led a team of Architects, technical leads and Software Engineers to deliver Intel’s first biometrics based payment solution using Intel ® SGX technology, a TEE based solution. Architected a HS and HA REST based cloud platform using AWS cloud services used by more than 200 million devices. Designed and developed a 24x7 monitoring, DR and automatic alert system by integrating AWS CloudTrail and AlertLogic’s LogManager service so that any critical event can be addressed within 15 minutes. Joined the team as a founding member and helped grew the team to more than 15 members over a period of 1 year. Led the AppSec/SDL process for the team by partnering with other Security Architects. Partnered with external OEMs, payment processors and biometrics solution providers to launch this product.Led multiple teams and delivered successful innovative security products utilizing Intel HW based security technologies. Led a global team to deliver Intel’s first consumer facing service called Intel ® AntiTheft Service which enabled end users secure their laptops and the data from theft. Partnered with external vendors like WinMagic, BestBuy and OEMs to build a robust application using Intel’s secure HW technologies.Designed features and application involving both HW, System Software and Backend Web services.Delivered multiple web, stand alone and system applications for Intel products.
