Drive gross sales to meet or exceed established goals that support the strategic plan of Compco - Quaker Manufacturing (subsidiary of Compco Industries).Assist in the Vice President of Sales in the daily management of the Sales Department with the primary focus of "Customer Service"Establish solid long-term relationships with customersEnter and maintain information pertaining to assigned customer's purchase orders, verifying correct dates, pricing and delivery addressesResponsible for entering and maintaining the data of all currently assigned, as well as newly assigned, customers in our computer system(CRM, Visual Manufacturing)Communicate and liaise with customers as needed in a fast, timely manner(e-mail, phone, fax, visit)Act as the "Customer Representative" to interface with production and purchasing to establish and prioritize customer needs/wants and delivery schedulesDrive customer inquiries of assigned customers to ensure pricing is delivered in a timely mannerAssist with the development of the sales strategy and management of assigned accounts as needed, along with pursuing new products and customer needsGather information from the market and customer to increase Compco - Quaker Manufacturing competitive advantage Identify contacts at each account to develop relationships for future potentialDocument contact with existing and potential customers to gauge interest and performanceCreate and submit call log in order to keep a clear and open line of communication between Compco - Quaker Manufacturing. and the customerCreate and communicate detailed travel agendas

Responsibilities Include:Analyzes inventory stock levels production schedule demand in order to drive procurement to meet production orders and safety stock requirements.Purchases materials, equipment, supplies and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing procedures. Ensures that procurement planning meets with production requirements and releases orders to suppliers accordingly. Ensures appropriate level of inventory is available for regular production.Manages the existing supply base, identifies strategic suppliers and builds relationships.Monitors supplier performance and drives improvement in product quality, on time delivery and price.Works closely with Engineering and Quality.Performs work in accordance with all applicable regulations, standards and guidelines, and with the provisions of the Quality Policy and applicable SOPs and all other departmental policies and procedures.
