JOB PROFILETested Power Transformers of 22 KV up to 2 MVA and Oil Cooled Instrument Transformers up to 132 KV and 60,000 Amperes.Testing as per Standards IS- 2026,3156,2705 and 11322 , 11171 ;IEC-60076,61869 and IEEE-32 and C 57.13.Perform Tests on Manual , Prolific-Pro. and Omicron- PC interface Test Set-ups. RESPONSIBILITIESPerforming all tests and analyse test results in co-ordination with the Design and R & D Department to improve the Transformer Quality.Handling customer inspection and preparing test report.WORK PROFILE Tests performed on the Shop-Floor on Power and Distribution and Neutral Grounding Transformers according to IS-2026, 11171, IEC- 60076, IEEE -32• Excitation (Magnetisation) Test• Induced overvoltage (DVDF) Test• High voltage power frequency Separate source dry/wet withstand tests on primary winding.• High voltage power frequency dry/wet withstand test on secondary winding.• Winding resistance measurements.• Voltage Ratio Test.• Partial Discharge Test• Open circuit Test.• Short circuit Test.• Vector Group Testing• Megger ( Insulation resistance )Test• Oil break down Voltage Test• Magnetic balance Test.• Temperature Rise Test ( Type Test ).
