The Health Informatics role provides a liaison for ICT (Information & Communications Technology) related initiatives through collaboration with Clinicians throughout Halton Healthcare. Some of this work includes mapping out and evaluating processes and workflows, identifying the clinical needs related to ICT initiatives, establishing relationships with Clinical teams to ensure collaboration with ICT. Time to time organize and conduct user training, prepare/update training and reference manuals and other support material. Engaging with other core applications and their processes to provide support for the clinical teams and participate in an on-call rotation. Delivers training sessions in-class and supports the use of eLearning as part of the delivery of the curriculum.Reports on staff completion of training, proactively identifying areas that require additional support and strategizing how to remediate.Provides support and supplemental education, developing materials to address any knowledge or learning gaps and ensuring their colleagues have the information required.
