Collaborating with government, business and nonprofits to ensure Mississippians have access to the technology, skills and opportunity needed to thrive in a digital economy. With local and state partners, I help develop programs and resources to support communities in creating inclusive economic growth centered around digital access, digital skills, computer science education, and digital transformation.

Led the expansion of Microsoft TEALS to the state of Mississippi. TEALS is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that equips educators with the computer science skills by pairing them with industry professionals.

Founded a startup nonprofit that empowers educators and innovators to develop community-facing projects. The startup removes barriers for teachers and other community do-ers to become immersed in the community, identify issues, develop and fund solutions. I've lead the program management, fundraising, volunteer recruitment & retention, strategic planning, fundraising, and web development of the startup nonprofit over the last three years.

Co-founded a K-1 public charter school. Implemented and maintained seamless systems (attendance, child nutrition, recruitment & enrollment, facilities, field trips, health and safety, scheduling, records, transportation) enabling the school to run like clockwork so instruction was top priority. Recruited and manage the operations team which included a Food Service Coordinator, Office Manager, Maintenance Manager, Aftercare Coordinators, and receptionist.

Created the school's first computer science & entrepreneurship hybrid course focused on HTML & CSS, and social entrepreneurship. As the school's technology coordinator, oversaw the implementation of technology integration across subjects, monitored inventory, and secured funds to acquire educational software programs through outreach and partnership.

Taught brilliant 5th graders how to code, think critically, advocate for themselves and their community through writing, and developed a classroom culture of joy and tolerance for all people. As the English Department Chair, I ensured the best instructional practices were consistent throughout the second through fifth grade ELA classrooms, led data meetings and professional learning communities, and analyzed the vertical integration of the English curriculum. I also co-developed a process that increased lesson planning collaboration and enabled consistent teacher feedback through peer observation. • Three years of 75% reading growth, according to monthly STAR SGI score and state assessments• Awarded Teacher of the Month for January 2016 • Secured a $10,000 grant to develop a Youth Media Project• Implemented a school-wide writing strategy that resulted in increases in MAAP Writing scores in 3-5th grades• Lead Teacher Facilitator for JPS Area 2 schools - 5th Grade Reading Language Arts Sessions• Selected as the Best Class Implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS) system in 2015-2016.

Serve as a member of a national teacher corps that annually selects less than 15% of college applicants to teach for two years in under-resourced public schools in low-income communities. I attend weekly and monthly professional development sessions on tracking and analyzing student data, developing culturally responsive projects, and creating a joyous classroom environment.

Founded a student-led marketing agency that offers real-world learning opportunities to students at the University of Mississippi. Under my leadership, we built a dedicated staff, won two national awards, established a fundraising model, managed an annual budget and captured a portfolio of clients including a local pizza franchise, tech startups, nonprofits, university departments, and two national companies. I failed plenty and learned a ton. This experience truly defined my educational, extracurricular, and much of my social experience at Ole Miss.

Worked with clients across industries to realize business opportunities, redesign their marketing and operations programs that resulted in improved service levels and reduced costs.

Explored the internal operations of the gaming industry including regulations, gaming, hotel, and marketing. Worked on special projects with other intern which was presented to a senior management panel.
