Supervise day to day operations and staff as required. Set goals and objective for direct reports and complete evaluations as required. Review and approve time and attendance. Communicate clearly and frequently with staff to ensure mission and tasks are clear. Provide prompt and courteous customer service.Participate in the development of statewide policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, pertaining to real property management and utilization to assure efficient and economical utilization of space.Manage the day to day leasing process by ensuring agency leases are in accordance with applicable rules, statutes and policies. Conduct a high level review and make recommendations to management on agency lease actions. Sign lease actions for leases that are less than 10 years in length.Review leases for re-location to state space and actively and aggressively review the status of vacant space in state buildings to ensure agencies relocate to those spaces. Ensure that during the fiscal year the Bureau will maintain a 94% occupancy rate in state buildings.Work closely with the Strategic Planning team to review and co-locate private leases together. Develop business cases and cost benefit analysis for those actions. Work with the agencies to implement the strategies. Track costs savings and square foot reductions.Manage the Tenant Broker contract(s), monitor costs, performance measurements and overall satisfaction with the services provided.Plan organize, supervise and participate in the development of statewide policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, pertaining to real property management and utilization to assure efficient and economical utilization of space.Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed; keep supervisor and management informed of project status and other relative issues. Conduct other duties as requested to meet the mission of the agency.
