Drive for fleet standardization, maintenance, and optimization of regulatory component programs. Develop individuals into subject matter experts that support strategic planning, program implementation and maintaining regulatory compliance of programs across the Southern Nuclear operating fleet. Act as 24/7 technical support for the fleet.

Leader-in-Training Role

Oversee and provide support of Section XI / In-service Inspection Program activities for SNC Fleet. Proficient with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Section XI code. Step-in as Acting Manager during manager absences.• Lead transition of In-service Inspection Program responsibilities to new model and role distribution, interfacing with affected individuals by leveraging input and creating positive and respectful environment.• Deliver technical expertise to nuclear plant engineering and maintenance groups and provide technical oversight of equipment problem solving and troubleshooting initiatives.• Ensure program effectiveness by leading collaboration and partnerships between multiple, cross-functional departments and diverse teams.• Improve outage preparation and execution by providing technical oversight of equipment problem solving and troubleshooting initiatives.• Cultivate win/win situations by mediating and implementing conflict resolution strategies.

License Renewal Program (Farley Nuclear Plant)- Organize and provide oversight for the completion of NRC commitments on time and on budget for the plant’s extended license.- Lead and provide work direction to contractors and support personnel.- Execute and manage the implementation of new Aging Management programs.- Participate in industry meetings to ensure Farley incorporates operating experience and lessons learned into program implementation. - Involved in troubleshooting and problem-solving when daily and outage plant issues arise.Environmental Qualification(EQ) Program (Farley Nuclear Plant)- Ensure equipment meet the standards of the Environmental Qualification requirements. - Review and maintain the proper maintenance frequency for EQ equipment. Boric Acid Corrosion Control Program (BACCP) (Farley Nuclear Plant)- Inspect, evaluate, and assess conditions for corrective actions of the Reactor Coolant Pressure Boundary and auxiliary systems and components in contact with boric acid. - Maintain an update and accurate database with information regarding leaks found in the plant. - Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure the timeliness of cleaning and correcting deficiencies found.
