In preparation for this organizational restructuring, I was asked to identify systems, processes and assets that would be impacted, define and implement new processes and systems, and redefine the existing roles and responsibilities of the staff in my organization. This transformational effort led to the creation of a lean engineering organization, that not only provided outstanding presales and design support, but also shouldered service delivery, logistics, implementation engineering, and repair/maintenance responsibilities. Nextlink Wireless was purchased by Verizon in January of 2018. All Nextlink staff was released on February 9, 2018.• Played key engineering role in the support of 2-billion-dollar M&A deal with Verizon• Led engineering team thru completion of 7-million-dollar network upgrade project.• Achieved 135% of network upgrade project and overall 2017 team goals.• Defined requirements for stand-alone engineering systems and databases• Migrated and parsed historical engineering data into new data management systems.• Developed and documented new service delivery processes supporting wholesale and enterprise orders.• Defined new MOPs for installation, testing, and acceptance procedures.• Implemented new process, roles and responsibilities supporting Trouble Ticket/Repair activities.
