Mike Casey focuses on helping companies develop policies, procedures, systems and tools for managing information – to meet business needs and to manage their regulatory compliance and reputational risk. Mike currently delivers these consulting services through Casey Group LLC. Typical projects include development of policies, procedures and frameworks for document retention, data storage, access controls, privacy, data governance and protection, content classification, data maps, data quality, and policy-driven disposition of records and information. Projects may also address compliance with privacy regulations and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, and other federal and state laws and regulations. Mike Casey holds a BS in Physics from Santa Clara University. After ten years of work experience in technical roles, Mike returned to Santa Clara and earned an MBA, covering finance and accounting as well as operations and marketing.
