I lead the editorial content and daily operations of CTV’s flagship entertainment show, ETALK. Now in its 18th season, ETALK is Canada’s longest-running and highest-rated entertainment show and is credited with helping to build our country’s star system. I started as the writer and worked to establish the show’s unique voice and tone. I am well versed in all aspects of production and have held many roles. Past positions include Story Editor, Senior Producer Assignment and Supervising Producer. Some of my current responsibilities include: • Leading and mentoring a team of 20 segment producers and on-air talent• Running daily meetings to generate content ideas and creative concepts• Maintaining close relationships with internal and external partners• Managing and planning large-scale events – TIFF, Golden Globes, Royal Wedding, SAG Awards, Olympics and Cannes Film Festival• Field Producing – live and taped productions• Working closely with Brand Partnerships on editorial integration• Budgeting, forecasting and financial management• Overseeing and managing all aspects of ETALK’s L.A. Bureau• Social Media integration
