A Director of an Automotive Design and Engineering Company (1995-2013) Owen Howells Design Ltd. During this time I supported the businesses admin requirements for contracts carried out within the UK and abroad. Relocating from the UK to Michigan, USA, to support contracts with Ford, Daimler and GM. Moving onto Germany for a contract at Porsche in Weissach, Stuttgart. Between relocation I carried out numerous temporary contracts in administrative and customer service capacities to include PA to Directors of high profile Engineering Companies, Chiefs of Police and Governors of the Prison Service.Creator and Director of The Peace Crane (2013-2023) developing and overseeing an online transactional website, shop and yoga studio. Responsible for every aspect of the business, working with designers to achieve desired visual results, transforming outdated and uninviting spaces into healthy and welcoming retail and studio environments for customers and employees. Sourcing unique wellbeing products from around the world, hiring staff and practitioners and organising frequent exhibitions to further promote my business. In March 2020 the Covid pandemic saw the closure of The Peace Crane. Additional experience includes working for Warwickshire Police Vetting Unit where I provided business support for a large number of organisations required to submit applications for their employees to gain entry into Police Buildings. Later to train as a Vetting Case Officer, a highly responsible role conducting in-depth checks, interviewing applicants and evaluating risk before making the decision to grant or refuse Vetting Clearance on the National Contractors Vetting Scheme.As a Customer Service Executive based at Silverstone Circuit this role enhanced my skills within Customer Relations. Understanding customer requirements, based on budget and overall expectations to maximise their experience when attending events across the calendar including the British Grand Prix and Motor GP. Currently responsible for the management and coordination of complex global contracts to supply, install, service and maintain highly technical laboratory equipment for clients working within the field of Bioscience.
