Plymkids opened 20 years ago as, I felt, Plymouth needed an affordable and inclusive children's theatre company, where children from any background could come along and experience the fun and excitement that performance can offer. We now work alongside 300 children each week and produce four productions a year. We are also lucky enough to have built up positive relationships with many touring production companies, who now use our local children in professional productions. We are also very proud to be involved in many local projects including The Mayflower 400, Plymouth Herald Community Awards and many Plymouth City Council Events.
