• Manage the flow of day-to-day operations • Monitoring and approving timekeeping and attendance • Providing day to day operational support to team members, communicate clear instructions to team members • First point of escalation for operational issues • Identifying resourcing issues within the team • Raise requests for additional headcount to Manager • Escalate performance issues as appropriate • Carry out regular one to one meetings with team members • Input into training and development needs within the team. Monitor team members' participation to ensure that all training they have been provided is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed • Provide feedback/participate in appraisal meetings with Team Manager where required Identify and establish new customer accounts (e.g. call dormant accounts, obtain leads from vendors) • Maintain and grow business with existing accounts • Support external sales in managing account administration • Generate and provide customer quotes for standard/pre-designed solutions • Follow up on customer quotes where required • Consult with customers in selling and supporting Westcon products and services • Provide product presentations and sales training for assigned accounts. • Identify cross selling opportunities within Westcon’s products and services portfolio • Keep customers up-to-date with product-related information • Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer
