Joan Abrams is a Manager, Education and Workforce Development at Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. She possess expertise in biotechnology, science, cell biology, protein chemistry, molecular biology and 20 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Joan has been a very effective Biotechnology Instructor at RIndge School of Technical Arts department at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School since the fall of 2003. We collaborated closely around the academic and social/ emotional needs of students for two years. In my role as inclusionary support specialist, I observed closely how student-centered Joan was as she provided personalized instruction to each student. We met with students together to problem-solve and motivate them to achieve on a regular basis. She is very respected by all students and staff who have had the pleasure to work with her."
