A six-month intensive training program that prepares individuals from non-Computer Science backgrounds for a Software Engineering career at Capital One at Capital One. Upon completing, Associates will join the Technology Development Program (TDP), a two-year rotational program for full-time software engineers. At the end of the program, associates will be introduced to the following tools:- Programming knowledge and proficiency in full stack development- Skills on the topics like iOS, Andriod, AWS, the Software Development Life Cycle, Voice Driven Applications, Machine Learning, and more.

In alignment with the UW-Madison’s Diversity Framework, Information Technology Academy (ITA) is a pre-college initiative with the goal of increasing enrollment rates of diverse students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. ITA programs serve students in the communities of Madison, Lac du Flambeau and Oneida.Through ITA, high school students build knowledge and skills with hands-on training, academic support, mentoring, leadership development, community service and internship opportunities. At the same time, the students’ communities benefit from greater access to technology and from the skills and experience gained by these future leaders.I am an currently an instructor in training, working to help students learn office suites and web design. I will also be training towards teaching graphic design in the later future.

Through a variety of programs, the College of Engineering Diversity Affairs Office (DAO) attracts and supports academically talented women and students from groups historically underrepresented in the field of engineering. The DAO is comprised of employees working as a team to support inclusiveness in UW Madison’s College of Engineering.I assist the Diversity Affairs Office with administrative duties, digital communications, and event support.
