I joined the fintech team right from its inception, and we encountered numerous challenges along the way. Our mission was to explore opportunities within the financial services industry to develop products that would simplify the lives of our clients. We embarked on several projects, and I actively participated in the development of each one.Among these projects, we created a solution to streamline the process of opening business bank accounts, enabling tax payments with credit cards, established CobrePJ as a sub-acquirer, and automated financial routines like tax payments and statement imports, among others.As our financial products gained traction and success, we decided to take it a step further and create our very own banking platform, Contabilizei.bank. This endeavor brought forth new and exciting challenges, and to this day, we continue to build on this journey.Working in the fintech domain has been an exhilarating experience, as it allowed me to be at the forefront of innovation in the financial sector. Being part of a team that pioneers cutting-edge solutions to address real-life financial challenges has been immensely rewarding. During my time with the tax team at Contabilizei, I worked as a full-stack developer, with a primary focus on backend development. The main challenge of the role was managing all aspects of taxes for our clients, ensuring timely compliance, accurate calculations, and facilitating recalculations when needed.To tackle these challenges, we leveraged cutting-edge technologies and tools. This included utilizing the Google Cloud Platform, which provided powerful resources for data storage and processing. Datastore enabled us to manage and store data in a scalable and secure manner. With App Engine, we could develop and deploy applications swiftly without worrying about underlying infrastructure.Furthermore, Google Storage played a vital role in handling large volumes of data, while Kubernetes facilitated container orchestration and management, ensuring a highly resilient and high-performance infrastructure.Regarding development technologies, Spring and Java formed the core of our stack. Leveraging these robust and widely-used tools, we built reliable and scalable systems to efficiently handle tax-related challenges.My experience with the Contabilizei tax team was enriching, as it allowed me to enhance my development skills, tackle intricate tax-related issues, and collaborate with a highly skilled team. Contributing to ensuring tax compliance for our clients brought a profound sense of fulfillment and professional satisfaction.

During my academic period, I participated in a comprehensive project with the objective of mapping and optimizing the workflow within the Public Defender's Office. The main goal was to create a software solution that would streamline and facilitate the tasks performed by the dedicated staff of the institution.Throughout this project, I conducted a detailed analysis of the existing processes at the Public Defender's Office. This involved interviews with key personnel, daily operation observations, and documentation of the various steps involved in the workflow.It was a fantastic project where I had the opportunity to meet various different people and gain experience in the role of a software engineer. After my volunteering period at the Public Defender's Office, I made a presentation at my college about the entire project, and this project was used for other students to continue.
