As the Head of Human Resources for Portugal at Domino Printing, I lead a team of four people in orchestrating a diverse range of strategic and operational HR initiatives, serving as the primary HR representative for Portugal within a global framework.My role encompasses driving continuous improvement projects and providing comprehensive HR services, spanning from strategic business partnership to advisory and administrative support. Key highlights of my role include:• Partnering closely with General Managers to challenge existing norms and pinpoint opportunities for organisational enhancement.• Providing guidance and mentorship to managers on multifaceted aspects of people management, such as performance evaluation and talent development.• Taking the lead in local employee communications, steering engagement initiatives, advancing wellbeing programs, and championing inclusion efforts to reinforce Domino's reputation as a Great Place to Work.• Successfully implementing the Recruitment system to enhance our talent acquisition and retention efforts, collaborating closely with Group HR to develop local capabilities.• Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal practices, while also addressing employee personal and labor-related matters through effective administration and advisory support.

In my role as an HR Partner, I serve as a strategic collaborator, bridging the gap between HR and the organisation's overarching goals. My responsibilities include:• Strategic HR Leadership: I operate as a strategic partner, actively participating in core HR functions while simultaneously leading projects that align with INL's HR strategy and organisational objectives.• Business Integration: Partnering effectively with colleagues and leadership, I provide strategic guidance and counselling to optimize people management, enhance team effectiveness, and boost employee engagement. I align HR processes with departmental and organisational needs, fostering a cohesive work environment.• Comprehensive HR Expertise: My role encompasses the complete HR spectrum, encompassing R&S, employee relations, performance management, engagement, career development, and training. I ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with INL's mission and vision.• Relationship Building: I establish and nurture relationships with supervisors and team members, facilitating the implementation of HR initiatives that promote a harmonious work culture and drive employee growth and development.• Conflict Resolution: I respond to employee relations issues in accordance with internal regulations, ensuring fair and efficient resolutions that contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.• Performance Improvement: I maintain feedback mechanisms to encourage continuous career development and enhance team effectiveness within the assigned departments/units, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.• Data-Driven Insights: With a strong focus on analytics, I develop and implement HR projects that leverage data insights to identify trends, patterns, and gaps across the organisation. I use these insights to recommend strategic solutions that align with INL's objectives.

As an HR Consultant, I have a track record in providing external consultancy services to Organisations, guiding them through a spectrum of HR matters. I have not only helped building HR processes from scratch but also offered recommendations for the enhancement of existing processes. My expertise extends to devising strategic HR solutions that align with each Organisation’s needs, ultimately contributing to their growth and success.In addition, I have been dedicating my personal time assisting individuals in their career journeys.
