Using skills developed over my career in operations, planning and scheduling I am able to ensure the engineers routes hit the required daily average for jobs completed, whilst also ensuring SLA's are met for the customer. Due to the extensive range of products on offer it is also essential to route the engineers with skillset in mind. Again ensuring jobs are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible for the customers. I provide daily reports to senior management on work completed and any job failures. This daily reporting and analysis of work completed allows us as an operations team to ensure we are providing the engineer's in the field with the correct level of support, in addition to determining any areas we can improve our figures.This support also extends to being in contact with the on road engineer by phone and message when required. By providing them assistance whilst they are on site I am able to mitigate the number of failed jobs. Working closely with other departments such as Sales, Customer onboarding and customer support I am able to provide the best possible service to customers as well as helping other teams hit their SLA's and KPI's by routing jobs in a timely and efficient manner. Communicating with the commercial contracts, HR, maintenance and sales team on a daily basis. By ensuring a strong, clear line of communication existed between the operations team and other departments, I was able to ensure we provided an efficient, quick and safe service to customers. Provided assistance to the Operations Director when a new strategy was implemented, whether that be the relocation of road based resources. Or a new processes for the operation team to follow. I also acted as shift manager on the weekend, working in rotation with another colleague, I managed the whole of business. The extra responsibility allowed me to gain insight as to how other departments such as the Commercial team operated.
