Forward-deployed onboard USS Emory S. Land (AS-39). Served as an Information Assurance Administrator, securing 346 NIPR and SIPR assets using HBSS and SCCVI Retina Scans. Other roles included System Administrator and Helpdesk Technician for approximately 450 sailors, as well as Training Petty Officer for 20+ personnel providing IT-related training. While stationed on AS-39, my team and I upgraded the ship’s network security standards to pass a scrutinizing 5-year INSURV inspection.
