I am currently a 5th-year graduate student in Dr. Alan Smrcka's laboratory at the University of Michigan (Program in Chemical Biology and Department of Pharmacology). I study G protein signaling using 1) cell-based assays in mammalian cell lines, and 2) in vitro biochemical assays with purified and reconstituted proteins. Previously, I graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Kansas (KU) with degrees in Chemistry (B.S., Departmental Honors) and Biochemistry (B.S.). While at KU, I amassed nearly 4 years of experience in a bioanalytical chemistry laboratory. Through this work, I gained significant, firsthand experience with fast-scan cyclic voltammetry (FSCV), atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), and working with zebrafish.
Listed skills include Hplc, Fast Scan Cyclic Voltammetry, Public Speaking, and Mass Spectrometry.
