I am a Senior Operational Leader, Industry Representative and Regulatory Engagement Specialist, leading the development and implementation of sustainable, service-focused business strategies in the Agri-Food sector. I have recently commenced as Investment Manager - Food and Agriculture at the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) within the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA). Prior to this, I was Director at Meat Industry Ireland (MII), for over 8 years, representing the interests of member companies at a local, national and EU level. My earlier career includes: Head of Inspection Services at SouthWestern, managing operations of a large-scale contract to deliver on-farm quality assurance inspections in Ireland; Trading Manager at North Cork Co-operative, managing operations and performance of the Agribusiness division; and Finance Area Manager at permanent tsb Finance Ltd. Leveraging my diverse experience across Agri-Food, including business representation, operational leadership and financial services, I am able to drive business-wide growth while creating and delivering key business development activities across the organisation to secure long-term sustainable success. I have a strong track record in developing and transforming key operational processes and metrics to deliver efficiencies and strengthen performance. Additionally, I build collaborative key stakeholder relationships, including with Government and regulatory bodies, to achieve buy-in to business objectives.
