• Establish and maintain a strong supplier base, develop a mutual respect of suppliers and peers.
• Responsible for selecting and maintaining high quality sources of supply. Develop new methods of procurement as well as product innovation.
• Advise planning, engineering and contracts of changes in prices or lead times that make and produce cost-prohibitive or lead times detrimental to production cycles
• Visit manufacturing plants to resolve communications, manufacturing process problems or delivery problems.
• Consolidating requisitions as much as possible to obtain high-volume prices. Processing requisitions in an expeditious manner.

• Set requirements forward for the Purchase of raw materials, and manufactured parts for Aircraft cabin and cockpits thru MRP, for Troy, AL. branch
• Expedite LRIP requirements, for cockpit, cabin & flight safety
• Daily parts shortage issue with my Troy AL. branch, who manufacture my components.
• Weekly status meetings with the US Navy, NAVAIR, DCMA & Structural Engineers.
• My responsibilities include approx 2500 parts.

• Responsible for approximately 25 employees, in purchasing, maintenance, shipping & receiving, and raw material operations (planning, processing and scheduling).
• Recommend and executed major raw material purchases.
• Negotiated yearly requirement contracts with competitive service.
• Performed material management, inventory control, planning, expediting, shipping & receiving raw material.
• Selected and managed all vendor activities.
• Negotiated and purchased yearly fuel contracts.
