In my professional life, as in my personal life, I strive to live by the Golden Rule- Treat others as you would like to be treated. It's a simple, yet profound concept, so often overlooked in our fast-paced corporate world. Kindness matters. Integrity is important. I believe that we have more influence on the people around us than we realize. So I try to apply that influence to help others and be an authentic beacon for positivity. What gets me out of bed in the morning? Helping others succeed. I've been fortunate to have built a diverse and successful career by looking beyond the title and connecting with the person, understanding what motivates them, and then sincerely trying to help them accomplish their goals.I consider myself lucky to have been given so many chances and to be mentored by so many wise leaders. I look forward to learning even more as I continue to grow, but more importantly- to give back as much as I have received.Chop wood. Carry water. Little actions, done consistently, bring big results.
