Joel Thomas is an accomplished Concept Artist and Illustrator based out of Round Rock, Texas.He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!) and his Master's degree in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. He also attended University of Georgia in Athens Semester Abroad studying Bronze Casting and Sculpture in Cortina, Italy. And finally, Studied 3D graphics at the Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, B.C.His work has been featured in Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art Vol. 10 and 13. He has done work for Wizards of the Coast, Magic: The Gathering, DC Universe: Online, Digital Domain, Disney, Ray Villafane and Todd McFarlane (Image Comics Co-Founder).[He also worked on the Alan Parker’s film, “Mississippi Burning”on the Transportation Crew. It was AWESOME. He also spent two days working with acclaimed Make Up Artist David Forest applying make up for the massive civil rights march scene! AND was an extra in the same scene AND made it into final cut!]
