Using the foundation I built in the cloud in my first two years at HIMSS, I've continued to be a leader in our efforts to migrate away from our legacy on-premise infrastructure; migrating some systems to more modern versions on AWS while decommissioning others or replacing them with new forward thinking cloud forward solutions using native AWS serverless solutions. I've participated in the planning, logistics, and operations of several HIMSS client-facing events in Las Vegas, Chicago, and Austin; making sure that the appropriate IT related resources and solutions to support the event are in place. I have also worked with the engineering and facilities teams on the restructuring of HIMSS office locations; upgrading, right-sizing, and removing infrastructure at office locations as needed to meet the changing demands of the business.
