My job position is to manage all aspects of residential installations. I perform site visits with customers, create material take offs, order materials, schedule installations and inspections, and follow up afterwards with customers. In addition, I would receive shipments and organize all materials for jobs in our warehouse.

Responsibilities for this position included running the office, selling jobs, designing solar systems, permitting systems, installing systems, and acquiring rebates for customers. We specialized in Off-Grid applications.

Hamilton Solar brought me on board as a salesman/ installer to start up a new company. I was promoted to residential manager with four workers under me. As we grew, I was named commercial foreman. Responsibilities of a commercial foreman included job site set up, time management, job site safety, accident documentation, material handling, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities of the owner of any company include acquiring a business license, contractor license, business insurance, and then producing a profit. The company designed and built decks, and performed small remodels.
