As an account manager 1 I handle any incoming calls through our high call volume office. I then assist the insured with any cancellations, reinstatements, endorsements, billing/payment questions, adding an insurance policy, certificate of insurance questions, rewrites, or general policy questions. I gained knowledge of r-sign as well as pulling mail from multiple carrier websites. Once any communication is completed I then would update both AMS 360 and Image Right with notes of the call and attach any relevant documents. I am also responsible for gather any quotes and binding the policy with the insured in a timely manner. I gained additional knowledge of carrier websites and underwriter departments. As well as negotiating skills when working with underwriters.

Handle and file claims as they are reported. Help direct clients with any insurance needs and work with multiple insurance carriers to close claims. Update and maintain monthly claim reviews for clients.

Investigated reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of the elderly and or adults with disabilities.
