John is the president of Agilest.org, a Agile-Lean Services & Solutions practice headquartered in Las Vegas Nevada, with nine other satellite locations both in the United States and in Europe. He is passionately engaged in scaling Agile methods to achieve agility at the corporations that the company he leads serves. As an innovator of 2nd-generation agile methods, he is continuously working to improve the Lean-Agile service offerings for organizational transformation. He has been an executive for most of his career and prior to his years as an executive and before that a senior manager, he was a project manager where he became passionate about optimizing methodology practices that lead to maximizing the value of work completed by project teams. An early adopter of Agile methods, John is uniquely qualified because of his long term perspective on development methodologies. Additionally, his experience in the senior ranks gives him insights into how to leverage Agile not just at the team levels, but throughout the entire organization. Previous to joining the business ranks, he was a member of U.S. Army Military Intelligence. John graduated with a degree in business from Northwestern University. Additionally, John is a fluent speaker of German and has served as a lecturer in various topic areas.
