John is co-founder of a new and unique real estate firm in Palm Springs California, Poolside Realty. He has over 35 years of highly relevant experience, first as an architect and then as an attorney. His co-founder, Russell Hill, has over 15 years in the real estate profession, 5 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and 10 years in the Palms Springs area. As an attorney, John represented building owners (both public and private), developers, contractors, construction managers, engineers and architects. He successfully resolved a wide variety of complex matters for clients through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in state and federal courts. He has significant experience in contract negotiations and drafting. His legal background provides an excellent platform with critical insights for his real estate clients. Before becoming an attorney, John was a licensed architect, working for large, top- flight design firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle, Washington. His knowledge of architecture and the construction industry, combined with is legal experience, offers his real estate clients a unique and very advantageous set of skills and perspectives.
