College Adviser
Current• Advise students grades 9-12 in exploration of career pathways and postsecondary education opportunities at Bullock Creek High School and Academic and Career Education Academy• Aid students and parents in completing the FAFSA and understanding financial aid documents to plan for college affordability. • Coordinate a triad of statewide initiatives centered around postsecondary education attainment: College Application Week, College Cash Campaign, and College Decision Day• Collect and report data regarding student demographics, test scores, college applications, FAFSA completion, and more.• Developed and implemented state-wide information and sharing system to connect all advisers with regional community and institutional resources from all over the state by organizing fellow advisers into committees and overseeing data collection and formatting • Participate in county-wide planning by serving on a both Postsecondary Attainment and Postsecondary Completion Action teams through the Midland County College and Career Access Network• Coordinate grant funds and compliance standards including the engagement of school-wide assessments and involvement in Postsecondary Advisory Councils
