Over 35 years of deep sea shipping in Licensed Management positions with the last 24 years as Master. Served aboard vessels such as tank vessel of various sizes from coastwise product vessels to VLCCs, RORO and Bulk vessels operating in the global trade transporting refined products, petro-chemicals, crude oil and bulk cargoes. Since coming ashore, have been involved for over 14 years in maritime consultng and project management in areas of ship safety and environmental compliance including Dept of Justice Environmental Compliance Auditing, ISM Code, ISO 9001-2008 Standard, ISO 14001-2004 Standard. and OSHA 18000 Standard. Training and education for ship's officers and crew members in all areas of safety and regulatory compliance matters. Development of models and practices for individual shipping lines to ensure safety and environmental compliance as required by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and U.S. Coast Guard..Specialties: All types of commerical vessel inpections and vetting -- both domestic and foreign flag.
