A wave of changes has come into how the electricity network is utilised. Consumption and generation patterns are evolving. Electricity is relied upon for much more than it used to. To remain fit for purpose, the power grid must transform. This is where my interest lies. The grid of tomorrow must handle all vectors flexibly and more dynamically. It must be smarter in looking after its health, quicker in recovering from disturbances, and more accommodating of wide demand swings, and embedded generation. I have been involved in projects, design simulations, and research studies on preparing the grid network for emerging use cases. My works range from a simulated impact study of EV growing adoption on the local distribution networks to the detailed design of grid-connected utility-scale wind energy systems. My designs integrate sensor networks, power electronic devices, and control systems for electrical networks. My designs navigate the complex terrains of safety, environmental and cost constraints present in our everyday world.In a team, I am committed, creative, and supportive.
