Wales

I programme manage the Welsh species recovery partnership 'Natur Am Byth!'. Similar to our sister projects 'Back from the Brink' (Eng) and 'Species on the Edge' (Scot) we are a partnership of NGOs and NRW, working together to halt the extinction of Wales' most threatened species in terrestrial, marine and freshwater habitats.

I co-ordinated NRW's approach to catchment management prioritisation via area based planning and implementing the water framework directive (WFD). I also led on water planning issues related to Brexit, and worked on freshwater content for Wales' 2nd State of Natural Resources Report (SoNaRR).

I managed the Development Department at Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, with responsibility for project development, communications, fundraising and environmental education. I led on developing and implementing projects to protect and enhance natural habitats, urban green spaces and wildlife in Herefordshire, especially areas that encourage more people to.

I managed the landscape scale conservation work programme for RSPB Cymru. Working in partnership with a wide range of organisations from the public, private and third sector to establish sustainable terrestrial and marine management in Wales, for the benefit of both wildlife and people.

Worked in partnership with environmental NGOs in Wales to campaign for the implementation of marine conservation legislation to ensure sustainable development and the designation of an ecologically coherent network of Marine Protected Areas in Welsh territorial waters.
